Elles always draws her drawings on the spot. No AI or any computer has been used; Elles has a steady hand and enjoys working as an urban scetcher on the spot. Colouring mostly happens in her studio at NDSM Amsterdam. The complete process takes weeks up to months.

You’ll find this café in Delft in front of church ‘The old Jan’. The colours refer to the process of the world famous Delfts Blue. At the bar you’ll find Antoni van Leeuwenhoek, the girl with the pearl and Clara van Spaerwoude. Yes, they did know each other at the time and they have plenty to discuss;)

This drawing is made at the Brouwersgracht, just in front of café ‘Papeneiland’. Only primary (red, yellow, blue) and secondary (green, orange, purple) colors plus black were used for this drawing.
